Impressions made and allowed to fade

Conservation is about forever finding balance between human needs and ecosystem renewal. We enjoy living in a house with a controlled climate, clean drinking water, and access to the bounty of information comprising the Internet.

But that shouldn’t mean that our property should be apart from Nature. In fact, it wouldn’t be much of a home if we didn’t share it with as much life as possible. It’s not a submission to the wild, but rather a mutualistic partnership.

We will always have a footprint on this land. Our mission is to make that more of an impression on the landscape that doesn’t “bust-the-crust” on the living system that makes this planet Earth.

The rise of new impression-makers would not be possible if we demand that our legacies are never allowed to expire.
